Guidelines for Volunteer hours July 2021 through June 2023
When in doubt, Count the Hour
Thank you for your effort in submitting your volunteer hours in a timely manner.
Regular hours include: all meetings, tours, night events, luncheons, committees, boards, rehearsals, conventions, AzFRW or NFRW meetings, various shows such as home show, mixers, fashion shows, fairs, parades, fundraising activities, social, political classes, court visits and inaugurations. Includes time for phone calls, emails, faxes, scans, computer time, any food prep and travel to and from.
Campaign hours include: all volunteer political and campaigning activities (whether paid or unpaid) meetings, forums, rallies, fundraisers for candidates, circulating petitions, phone banks, running for office, voter registration, door knocking for candidates, social media, poll watching, running for office, registering voters, carrying signs and travel to and from. Includes time for phone calls, emails, faxes, scans, computer time, travel to and from. Attending fundraising activities, even if tickets were purchased for attendance. Running for Office as a Republican Candidate. Attending Club, State or Federal meetings.
Precinct hours include: volunteer at YAVGOP office, attend precinct meetings and fund raiser dinners, make calls, door knock in your precinct, and travel to and from. Make sure to carry a notebook with you to record hours each and every time you do any of the above activities.
