GMRW Republican Candidate Communication and Petition Policies

​ Candidate’s Petitions, Posters,
​ and Flyers 

These rules apply to all Republican GMRW sponsored gatherings.
  • Prior to having materials present at any GMRW event, candidates must contact GMRW Candidate Liaison for instructions.
  • Only Republican Candidates are permitted to put out petitions at any time.
  • Republican Candidates are permitted to put out their petitions at the designated petition table and only before and/or after GMRW events. Petitions are not allowed to be walked around at any time during an event.
  • Republican Candidates or their campaign representative must stay with the petition throughout the allotted time period. No non-Republican campaign representative may attend.
  • All registered Republican Candidates may set out petitions regardless of GMRW membership status.
  • Once petition is submitted and candidate is on the Ballot, candidate may be asked to participate in the GMRW Forum. All vetting done by GMRW from publicly available information will be shared with attendees, including voting records.
 

Communications sent by Granite Mountain Republican Women on behalf of Republican candidates include, but may not be limited to, Constant Contact, GMRW website and Facebook postings.
 
Constant Contact:
Republican candidates for elected office will be allowed:
                2 CC’s for primary election purposes
                2 CC’s for general election purposes
CC’s include announcements of candidacy, meet & greet notifications, biography and platform statements, and other notifications for candidacy. The candidate or their campaign manager only must provide graphics for publication to the President and 4th VP- Communications along with the request to publish 1 week (7 days) prior to publication for approval. 
 
GMRW Website:
Republican candidates may provide a biography and platform statement for publication on the GMRW website. All requests must be made by the candidate and/or campaign manager only. Graphics must be included and received by President and VP Communications 1 week prior to publication for approval.
 
GMRW Facebook:
Republican candidates are limited to 2 postings in a primary election. For general election, if only 1 Republican is running, postings are unlimited. If more than 1 Republican candidate is running, then postings are limited to 2 per candidate. Graphics, etc.  must be provided by candidate or campaign manager only and must be approved prior to posting.
 
Meetings:
Republican candidates may be invited to attend and speak to the members of GMRW at a monthly meeting. Candidates pay the cost of their meal in order to attend and agree to speak to their platform and answer member questions.
Campaign materials (flyers, buttons, yard signs, etc.) must remain outside the meeting area.
